Jo Ann Asbury

Jo Ann Asbury holds the MS and BS from Radford University. Her teaching and research interests are Appalachian literature and folklore, American literature, and composition. Her essays, poems, and stories have appeared in several journals. A native of Pulaski, Virginia, she tries "to foster an appreciation of our rich and varied Appalachian culture and heritage." Jo Ann was the recipient of the  Donald N. Dedmon Professorial award for excellence in teaching in 2000. E-mail address: jasbury@radford.edu
