Independent Study Proposal

Radford University English Department

Independent Study offers students an opportunity to investigate specific problems or areas of interest under the direction of a faculty adviser.  Students should design the Independent Study course after close consultation with their adviser and then complete the following form. All courses must be approved by the department curriculum committee and chairperson prior to the deadline for adding courses in the semester the course is to be taken.  Students may apply for up to six hours of Independent Study toward graduation requirements.  An independent study may not be used to satisfy a General Education requirement.
